The traditional owners of the land in North Lakes are the Jagera people, with their name originating from the Foam Bark Trees which were prolific in the area (before settlement). The Foam Bark Tree has deep orange fruit and opens up to reveal two black seeds within a tri-sided pod which is the inspiration behind the logo; linking new with old. We believe the logo represents a respectful yet unwritten message of the company’s acknowledgement of the link between traditional Jagera owners and the land of the region.
